Activities done by Debre Berhan health Science College under nursing department since 1991-2010 E.C. Debre Berhan health Science College was established as mid-level health professional training school in 1991 E.C at Goshebado town which is 18 km away from Debre Berhan town in west direction.

The college provide training in certificate and diploma programs in different departments.

• From 1991-1996 E.C 37 male and 11 female totally 48 junior clinical nurses were graduated.
• In 2000 E.C 62 male and 60 female a total of 122 diploma nurses were graduated.
• In 2001 E.C 125 male and 22 female a total of 147 regular clinical nurses and 67 male and 59 female a total of 126 extension nursing students were graduated.
• In 2002 E.C 99 male and 13 female totally 112 regular and 79 male and 56 female totally 135 extension nurses were graduated.
• In 2003 E.C 56 male and 14 female totally 70 regular plus 43 male and 41 totally 84 extension nurses were graduated.
• By 2004 E.C. 24 male and 26 female totally 50 accelerated midwifery 11 male and 12 female totally 23 regular midwifery plus 66 male and 36 female a total of 102 regular diploma nurses   as well as 61 male and 31 female totally 92 extension nurses were graduated.
• In 2005 E.C 62 male and 85 female a total of 147 accelerated midwifery plus 26 male and 24 female totally 50 regular midwifery plus 32 male and 6 female totally 38 regular nurses and 46 female level 4 health extensions were graduated.
• By 2006 E.C.21 male and 58 female total of 79 accelerated midwifery plus 153 female level 3 health extensions and 91 female level 4 health extensions were graduated.
• In 2007 E.C 40 male and 29 female a total of 69 regular nurses and 16 male and 6 fe3male totally 22 regular midwifery plus 190 female level 4 health extensions were graduated in different times of the same year.
• In 2008 E.C182 female level 3 health extensions were graduated.
• By 2009 E.C 180 female level 3 health extensions plus 185 female level 4 health extensions 11 male and 11 female totally 22 regular clinical nurses and 10 male and 10 female totally 20 regular midwifery were graduated.
• In 2010 E.C.by the month January165 female level 3 health extensions were graduated.

In summary by regular program & extension program holding different department   1224 male and 2178 totally 3402 different professionals were produced and delivered to the community.

In addition to the above departments, In the near future it will graduate students with emergency medical technicians level 3 and anesthesia level 4.

Additionally it is on the way to start degree program in collaboration with Debre Berhan University and Amhara regional state health bureau.
