Education & Training core process is one of the main process in the college which lead structured departments and four newly engaged departments which is not incorporated in the colleges structure by authorized body as a department.
In the current structure we have four departments i.e. Nursing, Health informatics, Pharmacy and Medical laboratory.
Under nursing department we have the following discipline
- Health extension
- Anesthesia
- Emergency medical technical
- Midwifery
To improve the quality of education there is education development center with having four important sub-teams
- Faculty development team
- Curriculum Appraisal and development team
- Monitoring and evaluation team
- Educational and research team
On the side of regular teaching and learning process there is In service training center which plays a great role in the region as well as in the nation so as to implement the program of standardization and institutionalization of health related trainings which intern plays a great role so as to bring quality health service at the community level and the college works to make the in service training center as one of the continuous professional development center as per the national direction from the recognition of the training center 2014,The training center trains about 1300 trainees in the region especially related to HIV/AIDS
The college also authorized as an Assessment center by the regional and national center of competence agency which is also lead by this core process
The core process also lead and support gender office in the college. This office in the college mainly works in gender based violence, gender equality and equity, life skill counseling and guidance with having focal person and its own office.
